The Sanding Units – Proven Combination The sanding units rely on the proven combination of calibration roller and sanding pad. For secure workpiece guidance, a parallel spring-loaded steel pressure roller is located at the machine inlet, and rubber pressure rollers are located between the sanding units. Calibration Unit (R): The calibration unit is a grooved rubber contact roller of proven hardness. It is ideally suited for calibration tasks, even with high chip removal rates if necessary. The level of the contact roller is continuously adjustable to compensate for the thickness of the abrasive grain.
