The compact and mobile bending machine enables precise and repeatable bending up to an outer diameter of 60 mm stationary and directly at the assembly site. A powerful three-phase motor and a precision gearbox provide a powerful drive.
Optimum bending accuracy is achieved by position detection directly on the bending axis. The bending angle is set quickly and easily via a convenient, menu-driven user interface with touchscreen control, which guarantees even more intuitive operation.
For more complex bending tasks, 100 bending programs can be stored, with an angle sequence of max. 8 bends per geometry. The multifunction control allows variable adjustment of the bending speed for forward and backward travel, and a parameterizable overbending function is provided to compensate for material springback.
With the aid of the four material characteristics, the material is automatically overbent to the required bending angle, thus realizing an exact bending result.
The "stationary tube and rotating tool" principle ensures low space requirements during bending. Sliding shoes are used for thin-walled tubes to achieve a wrinkle-free bending result and to bend bends with minimal deformations from e.g. stainless steel and copper tubes.
With the PB20 profile bending attachment, flat, square and round bars can be bent without any problems.Extremely small bending radii are made possible with the KBV small bending attachment.

When developing the compact and mobile horizontal bending machine, the focus was clearly set on the production of dimensionally accurate coils such as handrails for spiral staircases. This is the supreme discipline, since two mutually influencing variables (radius and pitch) must be combined in a bend to form a dimensionally accurate geometry. The interaction of tube calculation on the PC, implementation on the bending machine, and control via the measuring equipment with final correction of the bending values ensure accurate bending. By simple and few inputs into the PC tube calculation program, the local printer provides a printout and supports the calculation of all necessary bending and correction data to operate the machine. A new powerful drive concept allows infinitely variable adjustment of the bending speed, requiring only a 230 V (AC) connection. Hardened steel tools as well as hard plastic tools that are gentle on the surface are available for selection. To ensure optimum feed even with tight bending radii, all three bending shafts are driven. The drive concept also proves its worth in tough daily use on the flat, when bending tubes and profiles.
