Even at maximum spindle speeds, the milling machine runs quietly. The machine features hydraulic tool clamping. The FP4M was only occasionally used in a state-run facility for training purposes. On this newer FP4 model, the feed rates are steplessly adjustable in all three axes, and each axis also features a rapid traverse. A major advantage is the active 3-axis digital readout.
