Used 6 units Baltimore Aircoil International (BAC) VXC S455 evaporative condenser, built 2015, serial number H150832701. Made in Heist-op-den-Berg, Belgium.
It is an evaporative condenser: hot refrigerant vapour enters the coils inside the unit, water is sprayed over the coil surface, and centrifugal fans draw air through the pack. The refrigerant condenses and returns to the refrigeration plant. No separate water-cooled condenser is required on the chiller.
The unit has twin R134a heat-exchanger coils (circuits A and B) and a centrifugal fan section. It was installed on a rooftop as the heat-rejection side of a refrigeration / chilled-water plant.

Application

Heat rejection for industrial chillers and refrigeration plants on R134a. A natural match for the Star Refrigeration package water chillers (contract 100663, 840 kg R134a charge): discharge gas goes to the BAC coils, liquid returns to the chiller.

Condition and sale

Used industrial equipment, removed / being removed from site. Price on request. Can be sold with the Star chillers or as a standalone condenser. Model, serial number and pressures are taken from the factory plates; actual capacity at the new site depends on condensing temperature and ambient wet bulb.
