Description

The printer was covered by an Enhanced Service Program (ESP) through the end of 2025. The contract was not renewed because the printer was taken out of production and placed in our warehouse after a newer model was installed. The printer was retired from service due to a production upgrade, not because of any major technical issues.

During our five years of ownership, the printer delivered reliable performance with no major technical problems. Maintenance was limited to routine servicing and the replacement of standard wear-and-tear components, including filters, ink tubes, and four printheads.

Before being placed into storage, the printer was inspected by an EFI-certified technician, who confirmed that it was in excellent condition. The printheads currently installed in the machine are also in excellent condition, as shown in the attached photos.

The white printheads were removed because white ink was no longer required for our production needs. Since white printheads require regular maintenance even when not in use, removing them was a practical decision to avoid unnecessary maintenance and operating costs.

To protect the printer during downtime, it was properly prepared for long-term storage, with storage fluid introduced into the printheads and ink system to help preserve critical components.
