Description
The 150mm Drill Vice IW150 has been designed for stable and secure clamping of workpieces during drilling, light milling and other workshop operations. The solid steel and cast steel construction, large opening and optimised jaw geometry ensure high rigidity and repeatability of clamping. This is a reliable drill vice that also works perfectly as an auxiliary milling vice for additional workshop applications.
Main advantages of the IW150 drill vice
Jaw width 150mm – enables secure clamping of larger workpieces and irregular shapes.
Kwsdpsycqfhsfx Adtst
Maximum opening 150mm – allows machining of a wide range of parts without additional fixtures.
Cast steel body – ensures high resistance to continuous operational loads.
Stable table mounting via elongated mounting slots with 160mm spacing.
High structural rigidity reducing micro-vibrations during use on bench drills and auxiliary milling machines.
Construction and technology
The vice features a precisely machined body made of durable cast steel, characterised by excellent dimensional stability and resistance to deformation. The key functional components – guides and jaws – are made of high-quality steel, ensuring durability and wear resistance. The screw feed mechanism is optimised for smooth adjustment, allowing quick, backlash-free positioning and consistent clamping pressure.
The base of the vice includes elongated 13mm mounting slots, allowing precise adjustment to different machine table layouts. Thanks to this, the IW drill vice series guarantees compatibility with a wide range of workshop machines.
Precision and performance
The construction parameters of the IW150 vice ensure stable clamping even during intensive machining. The flat base surface and parallel jaw alignment minimise workpiece movement, which is crucial for maintaining dimensional repeatability. The overall weight of approx. 4.2kg helps absorb vibration, improving drilling and machining accuracy.
Applications
The IW150 drill vice is ideal for professional metalworking facilities and maintenance departments. Its universal design allows use as:
bench drill vice – for precise clamping during drilling, reaming and counterboring,
milling vice – for light milling and auxiliary operations,
a general-purpose clamping fixture in mechanical and metalworking workshops for routine machining and assembly tasks.
Standard equipment
Cast steel body
Flat steel jaws, 150mm wide
Elongated mounting slots for position adjustment
Reinforced screw mechanism
