Wet wipes production process: Unwinding of the nonwoven from 2 jumbo rolls and slitting into 5 lanes per roll (until moistening) for a fast production method, longitudinal folding in Z or C-shape, moistening via several spraying nozzles, cross cutting (wipes length), stacking and forwarding to the packaging unit. The flow wrapping unit handles: feeding the wet wipes, feeding the film and printing (hot stamping), hole punching (to open the pack), positioning the reclosable label and e.g. a seal label (the integrated 2-lane labeler allows offset labeling), bag cutting/heat sealing and feeding to the lidding unit.
