The material is cut between the rotor and stator blades until it passes through the screen, which is bolted and mounted underneath the rotor. The interchangeable screen determines the final particle size. The shredded material can be discharged via conveyor belt, discharge screw, or pneumatically using an extraction system. The ZHS single-shaft shredders are designed for light to medium-duty applications in the plastics industry.
