Originally supplied to reprocess confectionery Polypropylene films with 100% heavy print on the film , it performed very well in degassing and compounding the plastics materials till that contract expired. The extruder is a cascade version , allowing significant extra gas venting and polymer mixing, by utilizing a second short barrel 160mm extruder to deliver molten and clean plastic to a die face cutter, followed by a centrifuge to dry the pellet. The line has recently been fitted with an ultra efficient FIMIC fully automatic screen filter, providing probably the most efficient filtration available to plastics recyclers. being a cascade configuration , with superior filtration and venting , the line is most suitable for difficult plastics films or fibre recycling. The line has a 7 cu metre silo feeding directly into a force feed conical delivery system to the feed zone of the 130mm extruder. There is a master batch/ additive feeder included.
