For sale is a Deckel FP2 universal milling machine in excellent condition. The FP2 comes from a state-operated laboratory where it saw only minimal use. It includes an accessory cabinet with a wide range of tools. The machine has very little backlash, and all spindles move smoothly. The geometry is outstanding. Even at maximum spindle speeds, the milling machine runs quietly. On this newer FP2 model, the feed on all three axes is continuously adjustable and each axis has rapid traverse. A major advantage is the active 3-axis digital readout. With the Heidenhain digital control, set dimensions can be entered and the machine will automatically travel to these positions.
