The thick red hydraulic hoses visible behind Unit B carry this high-pressure oil flow — both units are supplied via independent hydraulic circuits, allowing Unit A and Unit B to operate simultaneously without influencing each other. Operating Principle The two independent injection units are positioned at 90° to each other — in an L-shape. The mould is locked with 300 tonnes of clamping force. Unit A injects the primary material into the mould at 1834 bar. Immediately afterwards, Unit B injects the second material or colour from a 90° angle into the same mould at 1620 bar. The two materials bond at a molecular level inside the mould, cooling is completed and the ejectors push out the finished 2K part as a single piece. No gluing, screwing or assembly is required — two materials emerge as one single part in a single cycle.
