The tool feed is automatic, which makes the operator’s work easier and allows stable, repeatable results to be achieved. The lowering speed of the saw arm is adjusted by means of a hydraulic cylinder. The appropriate speed is obtained thanks to a valve regulating the oil flow between the cylinder chambers. This solution makes it possible to adapt the machine operation to the type of material being processed and the expected cutting precision. The required linear blade speed is obtained by changing the ratio on the belt pulleys between the worm gearbox and the drive motor. In the machine base there is a coolant tank with an electric pump, responsible for effective cooling of the blade and the workpiece.
