PP and PET Strap Compatibility
The CORMAK JDSA works with both PP and PET straps, allowing the user to select the appropriate material depending on package type, load weight, and required securing strength.
PP straps are mainly suitable for lighter parcels, cartons, and bundled packages.
PET straps are recommended for heavier loads requiring increased tensile strength.
Only straps with dimensions matching the machine specification should be used.
Strap Tensioning and Friction Welding
The adjustable tensioning speed of 100–200 mm/s improves efficiency when securing multiple packages and loads.
After reaching the required tension, the operator activates the friction welding process. The strap ends are permanently joined, and the excess strap is automatically cut off.
The approximate welding time is 2–5 seconds and may vary depending on machine settings and strap type. The process does not require additional metal or plastic seals.

Automatic Strapping and Heat Sealing
