The cross roller bearing on the Carnaghi was replaced about half a year ago.
The Siemens components in the control cabinet were also completely replaced at
the end of 2023.
The machine also has a measuring probe for tool measurement
and an external Renishaw measuring probe for workpiece measurement.
As a special feature, the machine also has a measuring probe installed on the
Z-axis
(Z1-axis). This brings an advantage in terms of accuracy and time, as the tool
does not have to be put down for measuring. However, it is currently shut down
and should be overhauled when it is put back into operation. The machine also
has a Rotomors six-jaw lever compensating chuck with centrifugal force
compensation, which was completely overhauled in 2020/21.
