The uncompressed, assembled door elements are transferred from an on-site automatic transport system to the Bürkle press line to be delivered. In the loading basket, the door elements are individually collected on each story. Once the basket is full, the door elements are alternately transported to the upper or lower press chamber of the multi-story press. The upper or lower press chamber of the press is unloaded using the unloading basket, while maintaining the order of the parts. This process represents a continuous cycle without waiting times, as the upper and lower press chambers are alternately loaded and unloaded. The collecting function of the loading basket is equipped with a timer: if the set maximum waiting time for uncompressed door blanks is reached, the press is automatically loaded, even if there are fewer than the maximum possible number of door blanks.
