Description
This listing is for the Bigneat Chemcap Ductless Fume Cabinet on Mobile Cabinet
The unit is in full working condition and is ready for immediate use
Ihsdsyliy Aspfx Afnou
The Bigneat Chemcap Ductless Fume Cabinet is a recirculating fume hood designed to protect laboratory users from hazardous fumes, vapours, gases and particulates without the need for external ductwork. Instead of venting contaminated air outside a building, it draws air into the cabinet, filters it, and then returns clean air back into the room. This makes it ideal where installing conventional ducted extraction would be difficult, costly or disruptive.
Filtration & Safety
Chemcap™ carbon filtration: specialised carbon media to capture a wide range of chemical vapours.
Optional HEPA filtration: for removing particulates as well as gases (available on some models).
Recirculatory operation: cleans and returns air to the room, eliminating hazardous external emissions and reducing energy loss
Usability & Convenience
Benchtop or stand-mounted: sits on a lab bench or on dedicated support furniture.
Portable and easy to install: no need for building ductwork.
Clear acrylic panels: offer all-round visibility of the workspace
Key Features & Benefits
Ductless, recirculatory filtration: No connection to external ventilation required — ideal when installing ducted fume cupboards is impractical or costly.
Chemcap carbon filters: Capture and retain hazardous chemical fumes and vapours; available in different types (e.g., organic, acid) depending on application.
Optional particulate (HEPA) filtration: Adds protection against fine aerosols when required.
All-round “Clearview” visibility: Transparent panels and enclosure give excellent 360° visibility of the interior.
Portable: Stand-alone units that can be sited on or off benches as needed.
User controls & safety: Touch-button control panel, service-due indicator and audible low-airflow alarm help ensure effective operation.
Quiet and efficient: Typically operate below ~50 dB, with controlled airflow (face velocity ~0.5 m/s).
Lockable access: Hinged doors and lockable front access help maintain containment.
Chemical-resistant construction: Materials like epoxy-coated metal and clear acrylic resist corrosion and are easy to clean.
Typical Applications
These cabinets are used in labs where occasional or varied chemical handling creates hazardous fumes but installing full ductwork is not practical — for example:
Small labs or teaching environments
Supplementary fume control where existing fume cupboards are fully used
Research or analytical workflows with intermittent fume-generating procedures
Touch-button controls with a service-due indicator.
Quiet operation (~
