However, to our total amazement for such a new machine, it recently developed an ink leak problem near the print head. To best investigate the problem we returned the machine to our supplier for repair (Grafityp, the UK main Mutoh dealer). Their prognosis is that it requires a new print head assembly, which isn’t quite as low cost or simple as we had hoped for. The total repair cost is £3,166 + VAT. Unfortunately we’re unable to fund this so have decided to cut our losses and sell it. Please see the repair quotation attached.
